Safeguards and Security
SMSI has a wealth of experience in traditional security disciplines, security practices, information security, information system security, and personnel security, as well as specific skill sets in safeguards and security (S&S).
SMSI personnel plan, assess, and validate S&S program effectiveness for clients including the Department of Energy (DOE), the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), other federal agencies, and commercial firms. Current S&S planning and management services include development, analysis, and evaluation of programmatic areas for the clients.
